Interested in becoming a Volunteer Cycle Mechanic or Ride Leader? Well, you’ve come to the right place! We are always looking for new volunteers to help make our activities happen. We currently have the following opportunities available:
Assistant Cycle Mechanic: Do you want to lend your bike mending skills to supporting one of our workshops or Dr Bike sessions? If so get in touch, you don’t need to be an expert as we will support you to grow your skills.
Ride Leaders and Assistant Ride Leaders:A Ride Leader is a volunteer who leads cycling groups on social and leisure rides. The role of a Ride Leader is to organise and run safe, enjoyable rides for the group members. The Ride Leader is responsible for planning the route, ensuring the safety of the group, and providing guidance to the riders.
Ride Buddies: Are you a friendly person who can put others at ease? If that’s you we need ride buddies who can help support less confident riders on our social bike rides. (You must be aged over 16 to volunteer with us)
